God is Not Finished!

As this year comes to a close, Linda and I reflect with deep gratitude upon each of you who have encouraged us with your words and financial support. We are moved by your expressions of love and confidence in what God continues to do through Discovery Family Ministries in reaching so many lives with the transforming power of God’s grace. His grace gives hope.

The revelation of God’s grace that drew me back to Him 23 years ago and recommissioned me to minister has in turn been revealed to thousands of others and continues to change lives. Thank you for participating with us in extending this message in 2015.

Recently, one of our current financial supporters reminded me of the day she came into an old flea market in West Mobile where I was selling wares on a table to make a few dollars. I was still drinking at the time, ashamed of my failure and feeling sorry for myself.

On the table lay my ordination papers in a nice frame. It was for sale.

She picked it up and said, “Gary, you need to hold onto this, God is not finished with you.”

She was right. I kept it. God restored me and now that same document hangs on the wall in my office as a reminder that God is not finished, even yet!

So thank you for helping us continue to reach others with that very same hope that delivered and healed me many years ago. God is not finished!
