Dear Friend of Discovery,
Thank you for praying with us and supporting the mission that is turning “underdogs” into
victorious achievers by the power of God!
During these past 20 years we have invested (and will continue to invest) our lives in this mission.
This year we added another emphasis, How to Help needy People, Without Becoming Dysfunctional Yourself. Through our new Hooked on Helping Seminars we hope to bring encouragement
and answers to family and friends of those with “special needs.”
We are meeting with favorable response like this letter we received from a mother whose son
is sober and clean today because she follows the same principles DFM promotes:

…I began to realize how important your new seminars are to those who live with, love,
support and “enable” the addicts in their lives. I am beginning to believe you may actually
reach more addicts by reaching out to those around them who are continually rescuing them
from their consequences. Please continue to keep me on your mailing list and updated on how those seminars are going. Many thanks to both of you for your concern and support throughout this entire ordeal. I could never have survived without friends and family!
